busted my early teen nephew watching one of those isekai harem animes. i want to steer him into the direction of animes that would be better for him to watch, such as ones where if the story was live action, the main character would be a good role model, not a volcel neet with hot women around him due to circumstance.
the only ones i could find that could seem to fit these requirements are sports animes and space opera types. im not a huge anime fan, i watched dbz and whatever else was on toonami in the 2000s, but im not up to date on the newer ones. i dont wanna be a 30 year old boomer and tell him to watch old shit.
ace of the diamond and kuroko's basket seem cool, but he doesnt play either baseball nor basketball, so it might not stick. legend of the galactic heroes also looked good, but the political stuff may go over his head and bore him. what do you guys recommend?
