Part of an ancient studies course I'm in is to assemble a cardboard facsimile of a Roman scutum shield (the rectangle one). One of the mandatory elements is a design of any kind, historically authentic or not. As such, I decided to make my design Longcat, with its torso stretched across the entire height of the shield.
The only photoshop class I ever took was something like five years ago, and I'm stuck using Gimp now. Suffice to say I have no fucking clue how any of this works anymore.
Could anybody edit it in a way that would enable the torso of the cat to be repeatedly printed/pasted to elongate the longcat? Anything that would result in the torso being able to take up the majority of the shield's height would work.
