>>640099No, no, OP's way of doing it makes some sense if you've ever dones something like this before. gif is limited to 256 colours, which means it's best to dump the video frames straight from the source, clean them and only then assemble the gif.
Image related, it's what happens when you convert the webm straight to gif. Massive quality loss and obvious rastering.
I don't see this working the way you suggest. OP's clip has many different colours and various shadings in the frame, which are poison for the gif format. There probably is no high quality gif version to be had.
