>>1513736You gotta find the right resources, tutorials, courses etc. that can "ease you into it". You probably tried doing these things and immidiately stopped because of how difficult they were off the bat. You're not supposed to learn everything by yourself, the "self taught" fad is a seriously harmful mindset, it instills into people the idea that if you don't figure out everything by yourself then you're a retard, but it's the exact opposite: by not looking up learning resources you stunt yourself.
Point number 2: make small goals, learn LITTLE BY LITTLE. Don't get hasty, stuff requires time to learn, just because you're not getting immediate results doesn't mean you're not making progress, so don't bail out, commit to it, you'll see results only by sticking with it
Point number 3: maybe the reason why you dropped something is because you don't really like it and are forcing yourself to like it. I tried to learn how to code, I think that shit sucks to do, it's really not for me, THAT is why I dropped it, but I learned Blender and have been building my skills for 4 years now because I like it, despite the difficulties of learning. Just because you like something doesn't mean it'll always be pleasant, there will be hardships but if you can push through them it can also give you great satisfaction
