The advantage of IKEA is that you see the demonstration models of many many desks in their office/workstation area. But there are desks in their home section areas too, so be sure to look there. You might even get a wall shelf cabine that goes against the wall nice because IKEA ones are nice and thin. With glass doors, that keeps the dust&dander out too.
You can also look at the walmart retail store, but their selection is paltry, but it gives you a baseline. Their online selection is large and if it allows shipping to their local retail store, you can at least be assured the shipping box isn't bashed or torn. Because if it is, you will reject it. Enter "desks" in the
walmart.com search box. Many items have shipping included in the price as with amazon.
