When I was really little I watched a collection of 2d animated fairytale/folk story (?) shorts from a VHS at school. The one I remember and am trying to look for was a story about a poor family with multiple kids, a wife and her abusive and greedy husband. One day they are approached by a beautiful rich woman who claims that she is the husbands cousin, but its revealed that shes actually a monster/demon. The family arrive at a tower and one night the wife sees the demon woman attacking their cow, she freaks out and tells her husband but the monster woman turns back to normal and tells the two that she only wanted their cow to make food out of for them (she's trying to fatten up and eat the family). At the end the wife decides to escape with all her children, but her husband refuses- the ending has all of them escape at night, and the last shot is the demon woman sneaking into the tower and closing the door to eat the husband. It MIGHT have been stylized to resemble traditional Indian artwork.
