>>965383Death Note (mystery, crime, thriller, supernatural)
Monster (mystery, crime, thriller, drama)
Ashita no Joe (action, drama, sports)
Kaiji (psychological, thriller, game)
Outlaw Star (comedy, action, space, sci-fi)
Space Dandy (comedy, action, space, sci-fi)
Irresponsible Captain Tylor (comedy, action, space, sci-fi)
Lupin the Third Part IV + V (comedy, action, adventure)
Out of all of these I'd go with Death Note first since it has a similar feeling to Breaking Bad in that it's about a guy using a book to kill people by writing their name in it and trying to avoid being caught by a Sherlock Holmes like character and has a lot of back and forths where the MC needs to think his way out of a situation he should be caught in.
Kaiji has a similar feeling to Death Note as well (even has the same composer) but it's about a guy trying to gamble his way out of debt (and possibly death) so it involves a lot of psychological games between many characters
Monster is also similar, since it's about a man trying to stop a patient that he saved from death as a child from killing people as an adult 10 or so years later, a lot of drama and action but quite slow for the most part
Ashita no Joe is a fantastic boxing anime about a young delinquent kid learning how to box and the struggles professional boxing brings. It's quite old but very good, full of drama, action, great characters and a great story. Try not to get spoiled since this has a very well known ending
Outlaw Star, Space Dandy and Tylor are all shows set in space, the first two deal with bounty hunting and exploring worlds (with one more serious, the other comedic), the last one is more about an idiot being put in charge of a spaceship during war and getting into situations he shouldn't be in. All three are a lot of fun
Lupin is similar to Archer (but with much less sarcasm) since it's about four thieves trying to steal things while getting into more trouble along the way, great characters, action and stories
