>>1547588Not him but since the majority of anime is basically adam sandler flicks, you could end up not enjoying or missing out on experiencing some great anime that was created for teenage audiences, like school or slice of life shows, some of don't even have plots at all but are amazing to watch like Non Non Biyori or School Rumble.
Also the main reason of why manga/anime is made, is basically escapism for depression or stress, and what makes it so good is how you can get lost on it in and forget about your problems.
