But in 2008, a browser where you don't lose your work because some other tab crashed, and don't have to randomly close tabs to stop it using 100% CPU was a big fucking deal, and it's why Chrome went from 0% market share to the dominant browser in four years. Remember, everybody already had IE; they deliberately switched to Chrome because they thought it was better.
