this might be a bit advanced for /wsr/ but i'd be eternally grateful if anyone could help me figure out how to do these subtitles. the idea is that this is an in-universe language that the main character learns and starts translating on-the-spot, so i wanted to differentiate them from the typical subtitles that are just plain black/white text at the bottom of the screen. right now i'm using these parchment pieces and they look okay enough in this screenshot but it's not something that looks good everywhere and as frequently as they're needed
tl;dr how do i make subtitles convey that they're being actively translated by a character?
