That episode where Netero self-destructs is badass. Netero was one of the strongest if not the strongest fighter in the Hunter association. What's more powerful than the culmination of all of that man's training and whatever nonsense superhuman abilities? A fuckin' nuclear bomb! It contributes to the dark tones in that series such as Gon's fight where he sacrifices a lot to kill that one catbug and the story surrounding that.
