I'm probably asking for an MTV-aired music video, but it may have been a commercial. I was very young when I saw it multiple times on TV and something about its aesthetic has stuck with me for over 20 years, so I'd like to find out what it was so I can watch the whole thing.
Details I remember from it:
>a shot involving a staircase, which I think was a dolly that went up the stairs, i.e. a "zoom".
>a shot which I think was a zoom, into a telephone, which I think was a rotary phone
>pretty sure the plot of the video was that a man and a woman were thinking about calling each other, but weren't for some reason, they mightve been broken up or something i'm really not sure
>heavy one-color tint over some, or maybe all, scenes, which I think was greenish-colored.
