The Zero Escape trilogy of games: (999: 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors; Virtue’s Last Reward; Zero Time Dilemma). They’re half visual novels with branching paths, half escape room games, all with an insane plotline. All 3 games are available to play on PC (Steam) and PS4, with ZTD being standalone and the other two being in a dual pack called Zero Escape: The Nonary Games.
All 3 games basically follow a group of 9 people trapped inside a facility (with the roster and location changing in each one), with everything being ran by a mastermind simply known as Zero. As you progress through each game, you’ll learn that just about everyone has something to hide, with plot twists everywhere. You can honestly play 999 as a stand-alone game, but it’s a lot more fun playing VLR and ZTD as well. Either way, should go without saying, but DON’T LOOK UP SPOILERS, it’s so much better going into it completely blind.
