it's one of the most iconic, generic and most reposted pictures on the site.
yet, ironically enough, it's also 100% impossible to find a clean png of it. believe me, I've spent a lot of time trying to find it. literally every version of it is in different stages of detoriation, with lots of artifacts. lossless common pepe is basically a piece of lost media.
pic related is a png, but I originally saved it as a jpg.
the only reason someone would edit the picture is to make a completely different pepe variant out of it. it would no longer be the common pepe.
yet, it's the same old common pepe, with no apparent changes made to it.
people obviously only saved and reposted it on 4chan. yet it detoriated.
