Anime literally just means Japanese animation, aka Japanese cartoons. You have romance anime, comedy anime, action anime, mystery anime, "psychological" anime, porn anime, softcore porn anime, etc. etc. etc.
What sort of stuff do you generally like? What themes and genres interest you generally, outside of anime?
