- get enough sleep - people boast they can do with just 5 hours, just don't believe them. Aim for 8 hours uninterrupted sleep.
- get some fresh air - humans are engineered to live in the wilderness and cities were invented just 10 000 years ago, so we are not adapted to an indoor life.
- get some exercise - it doesn't take much, in fact it takes surprisingly little
- avoid sugar - not just sugar you sprinkle over the food but also the sugar poured into junk food. Garbage in, garbage out is also valid here
- reduce salt - again most processed food is padded out with salt and water to an extent that would surprise you.
- stay comfy - mental health and attitude is important, especially when you are about to get some sleep.
