A key factor is that he used to write a blog about her or about his daughter growing up and amassed a small following or such. it was pretty lighthearted/wholesome , there a specific scene where she is drinking from a Mcdonalds/fast food looking cup. (Ultimately I'm after this panel but I'd love to recall the name of the series)
