Used to go to /b/ for laughs. It was so funny it brought tears to my eyes. Then the griefers came, who couldn't tolerate anybody enjoying a YLYL thread. And a whole generation that didn't understand the concept of irony, or the difference between sarcasm and humor.
Moved from board to board, /fit/, /k/, etc., never more than a step ahead of them.
/wsr/ is my home now. The fare is poor: mostly simp who-is-this and Chinese cartoons threads, but every once in a while something interesting.
Thing is, you have more freedom here on 4chan than probably anywhere else.
