people, especially /g/tards will tell you you can run anything windows on linux, but they wont tell you about the days worth of troubleshooting problems like sound not working cursor skipping fps dropping GPU not being used properly multitasking fucked etc etc etc.
if you like gaming i suggest dual booting like the other anon did. virtual machine is great but if you play online games, some of them have kernel level anti cheat system which detects if its running on VM so you can get assblasted. for even trying it(thats how i found out about genshin impact's anti cheat and many others do it)
it's also worth mentioning, however, that many games that have linux ports, run MUCH better on linux than onj PC. so if a game has a linux version i always prefer it over windows.
