What I'm looking for is some manga/comics/anime/cartoon/series/book/movie/ that has a plot like this:
>villan is doing something evil but the only characters to realize are the protagonists
>protagonists either don't tell about the villans plans (to someone else) because they don't want to sound crazy or they tell about it and get humiliated/ridiculized by someone
>preferable young protagonists (almost adults/young adults) and on a group smaller than 4 (preferable one or two protagonists)
>preferable if what the villain is doing involves magic or science fiction
The only two media I remember having a plot like this in at least some aspect were IT in a way and a Shia LaBeouf movie (Disturbia). Thanks in advance.
