https://www.google.com/search?q=murakami+skulls&tbm=ischmelty imaginary cartoons made up of circles aren't hard to draw, since he didn't base anything in that pic on reality he can get away with putting no effort into anatomy or construction (doesn't matter if he fucks up and draws a face meltier than it's supposed to be since nobody would know what it's actually supposed to look like, unlike when an artist draws realistic human portraits). even the perspective is boring and flat.
things that take a lot of drawing ability are those like pic related, where complex knowledge of perspective and form is required.
