Then one day he reads a news article about deer overpopulation in Japan, but how hunting and venison aren't a part of Japanese culture, so the government is having a hard time encouraging people to deal with the problem.
Sho studies what he has to do to legally acquire a firearm in Japan and a hunting license, guiding the viewer/reader through the process. Finally, Sho is able to purchase a double-barrel shotgun, the first firearm he's ever owned, and goes hunting with it.
The season/managa ends with Sho convincing his sister to tag along on a hunting trip to see what it's like, and she finds herself enjoying it...
