But the main thing is that you can cherry-pick too, presenting One-Piece's gigantic world and 200-episode foreshadowing, Vandread's tight story, BnHA/Tiger-and-Bunny's superheroes-as-allegory-for-everyday-work-life, Joshiraku/Showa...Rakugo's wordplay, and Penguindrum's surrealist symbolism, then acting as if these things are representative of all anime.
