Well, ASS in principle is fine but the mega autism ruins it. In a way I'm glad all that part of fansubs is dead. I remember back in the day, a sub for an episode was like 5000 lines long and took more processing power than the whole video, heck, even counting the whole OS behind it. Back then the Atom was all the rage in HTPCs, it could do anything except for those retarded subs. And all for a shitty karaoke, who the fuck needs a karaoke? I still can't believe all the autism that went behind subs. And talking about autism then came h264 10bit, that no one in the real world even knew it existed and ofc hardware decoding was impossible. All because a couple of turbo autists spent the whole day obsessing about banding or whatever shit no one with a life gave a fuck. Yes, I'm glad all that is dead.
