Idolgarbo and GTA are both aimed for male adult demographic yet have different actual audience and the maturity is absent.
>Kamen Rider? Isn't that a shounen?Look after the 2000-05 shows (Kuuga to Hibiki. Specially Kuuga, Faiz and Hibiki).
Even though these could be classified as shonen, the shows from these years are the kind of well-executed that any adult would enjoy them. These 6 shows have plenty of substance between the action: The first 2 shows do have tons of thriller with fantasy touches, the next 2 do have plenty of drama and the first half of Hibiki with the original production team might have a The Little Prince effect and would be boring for a kid, but sure not for a grown-ass man. After 2006 this is just gone for good AND the so-called aimed for adult audiences media just reek of average anime character behavior/retardation and edgelord gorefest.
I know this off-topic because it's not mecha (powersuit is /m/, and there are very mechanical creatures) but these can be quite enlightening if one is done with anime.
