I'm trying to upgrade to an AMD CPU for gaming + workstation. I want to run games + OBS for streaming + a bunch of other apps and plugins.
I know the 7800x3d is king atm for gaming and the 16 core equivalent, 7950x3d is worse by a small margin. What I wanna know is, if I want the PC to not only game but handle all the other aforementioned shit, is the 7950x3d the better choice here or is it still not worth it?
Lastly, is air cooling still viable for that 16core processor? I'll be buying a somewhat decent Noctua one, will it work? I dont wanna go to water cooling.
Would actually make my life so much easier to know about these since I can't get a clear answer about them anywhere. Any help appreciated.
