>>1232759>I know that some people do hate anime because it covers topics and ideas that they think should be censored such as meritocracy, uncensored presentation of controversial ideas, or situations that feminists hate.There is absolutely nothing that makes me more mad than people who think Japan is some kind of haven free from censorship and political correctness when they are in many ways worse than the west.
I like Japanese things too, but you shouldn't put this much faith in an entire country. If you traveled there you would be pretty disappointed.
