>>1326302>/vrpg/Lovechild of /a/ and /v/'s constant hatesex, and for better or worse it shows. Very rarely strays off-topic, but big-name franchises (Bioware, Bethesda, MegamiTen and the Trails series) take up pretty much permanent residence, which as a result tend to be the main source of wannabe spammers and flame wars. Produces a trickle of small, original RPGMaker games throughout the year.
>/vst/The superior videogame board. Being a niche genre its userbase is pretty small, and the bulk of outsiders tend to gravitate to the Paradox threads. Beyond these however the board is like reverse-/v/, in that it's slow but the people there play and discuss a pretty broad range of games, with threads that stick around for maybe a month.
>/a/The OG, and still up there with the better (relatively) media boards (not that it's a particularly high bar). Been actually having something of a small renaissance quality-wise these past few years as anons are getting more into a broader range of manga, with dedicated storytimes for lesser-known series and associated discussion becoming more common-place. Good luck trying to get a thread about a random comic or some non-seasonal/unpopular anime to stick around for more than a few hours, though.
>/tg/Leaking IQ score with each passing month since the 2010s due to being treated as a dumping ground for people who believe that "conversations are best when they are not discussed on the board dedicated to them". Tends to get particularly tenacious topic spammers, notable for being obsessed with topics that are (somewhat) different from the standard culture war fare, but just as obnoxious. Its generals reflect this on a micro scale. The average dedicated user is however still quite chill as far as the bigger boards go.
