even if you don't care what other people think (which isn't true of anyone who posts, because if you truly held no value in the opinions of others you would not be interacting with others), there is no genuine discussion to be had online anyway. at best, you post your opinion and get (You)s saying 'based'. the signal to noise ratio of people who have something to contribute vs people who just want to regurgitate one-liners is approximately 1 to 100. you might as well just talk to a chatbot at this point.
