I think I saw a few threads asking for recommendations for things and I just answered them because I knew what they wanted and kinda like coming here to throw people recommendations for anime, movies, vidya or whatever they're asking since it makes me happy to see people give me (You)'s when they say they'll watch a favourite show of mine and overall I feel good helping people on this site.
If they want something simple from the random pockets of knowledge I have (random Simpson's trivia/episode knowledge for example) I can usually give it to them, and other times it can be something oddly specific I can do (webm a scene from a certain anime I just happen to have downloaded).
About two months ago I randomly found a video from a Friday the 13th game that the OP wanted and he gave me a 20 dollar steam card which was nice of him so I can't say the time I've spent here has been wasted even if I've helped around 20 to 30 anon's over the years.
So I guess I come here to help people so they can throw me (You)'s and feel good from that along with recommending them anime/vidya/movies etc.
