You're going to have to put in a few weeks worth of full-time work into something decent if you want to get the attention of even your closest friends man. And I don't just mean an awesome story. Because an awesome, long-winded story really doesn't sell itself today. You need some kind of art, and some kind of voice/music. Nobody's really going to take you seriously if all you have is an idea--BUT it really isn't too hard to make some decent music, some mediocre art, and code over 6 months-1 year to make something bretty cool that people would happily spend at least a half-hour reading/playing/experiencing.
