What I do know is if you hit the down arrow by posts, there is a filter option, with multiple options in it, such as filter image md5, name, post, and title. If you filter image md5 (I don't know exactly how it works), it will cause any post using whatever file you filtered the md5 of, from being shown. If I filter the title (say for example the thread title is nigger), it will be added to the filter list for titles and all posts titled nigger will be filtered. You can also manually add filters, and add filters that will not just filter threads with exactly what you type in it, but any post with the thing you added (say for example you used the method where you hit the arrow and filter by title, and the thread was called nigger, you
would only filter threads titled exactly that, NOT any thread that included the word nigger in the title) though I don't understand it. I think that it says it goes by javascript, and if you learned that you could probably figure it out. It also helps if you downloaded 4chan-x already having somewhat of an understanding of the vanilla 4chan site, just for basic stuff, plus you should definitely read the site's rules and faq, as apparenty some portion of newfags don't, and it was the one of the first things I did when I came here years ago.
Shift+Click will just hide a thread, and it will put it in the hidden thread section, with all of the filtered threads.
