Hey guys. I don't watch anime at all, and I'm trying to get into it a bit, just to explore. I started with Stein's Gate, but I couldn't make it through past 3 episodes because in all honesty I was bored to tears. So, I'm going to try another direction.
Can you guys recommend me a good Anime that is along the lines of dark Japanese setting, modern, perhaps futuristic with the same aesthetic idea as Blade Runner (i.e. rainy, dark, lots of umbrellas and long coats, etc.)? The problem for me is that there is so much out there, and I have no way of filtering it to know what is worth watching and what is worth leaving behind.
So, can you give me a few suggestions? I want to immerse myself tonight....tea, comfort foods, darkness, and your suggestion to watch for a few hours. Thanks.
