So, since Youtube switched to HTML5 player, Flash Control annoys the hell out of me. First the site is loading the flash video, for which I have to click the Flash Control play button, but the flash video gives an error, so I have to reload the page and be quick about pushing play, so it kinda-sorta loads the flash video AND THEN switches to HTML5. Which is again blocked, so I have to hit FC play.
Is there a way around this BS? A better way to prevent the videos from loading/playing automatically?
Also as soon as the video plays, doing anything (like scrolling, so that the comments load, or alt-tabbing) almost kills Firefox. Even though it's got no increased CPU or RAM usage, everything nearly freezes (and Firefox prompts me to stop a ytimg script.
I'm not technically inclined, so I have to ask.
I'm considering switching to Chrome or something, but getting used to a new browser is annoying.
