So I am searching for a good anime to watch. It should include sympathetic charakters (especially main char), a good amount of violence/gore, ideally in a medieval surrounding. At least it should include swords. I like swords. Additionally, it should include these... wisdom moments, where the development, opinions and actions of the characters give you something to think of or at least gets you involved emotionally. A bit of sexy Time would not hurt too, but I guess this would interfere with my other restrictions (at least in my unexperienced point of view the more focus is put on sex, the less overall quality is given).
I am really not that familiar with animes, I think this might be the first "real" one I am going to watch.
I've finished Naruto and Naruto shipuden but thats a whole other... direction of what I am looking for. An example more closely to what I am looking for is the in my opinion really great Series "Bartender". Sure, it has nothing to do with gore or medieval or swords, but it catches up the "nice main character" and "wisdom insights" moments I was talking about earlier.
I also like the character "Zorro" from OnePiece.
Here is a list of possible Animes I stumbled over during my research. Does any of these fit to my needs? Additional recommendations very welcome.
