>What would you say is particularly positive/negatve about these sites? Which ones? Why?They allow (and have allowed me) to get differing opinions to mine, as well as keep up with interesting people.
A lot of people tend to argue about the most insignificant stuff (this specifically applies to Twitter, seemingly to a higher extent than other sites). Lots of drama and stupidity.
>How much information do you usually share on these sites? What kind of information?Things about what I'm up to, and opinions on issues I care about.
>How important are these sites for your life? While they do take up time for me, that is all they are for me; for killing time. They aren't that important, but I enjoy them.
>Why do you use them? For me personally, it makes it easier to find other people that are part of the same linguistic minority.
>How do you think they affect your personal life?Once or twice before I have gotten to the point where they took up a huge chunk of my time, but at this point not really.
>Can you share you daily routine on social networking sites you use?I generally check Twitter, scroll through a handful of tweets, like and retweet what I liked, and reply to a few people. Then (if I have time, as it can be time consuming) browse reddit, upvoting and downvoting what I like or don't, and commenting.
>How do you feel when you spend too much/too little time on these sites?Spending too much time (several hours) browsing on them makes me feel generally dissatisfied, but that applies to any form of entertainment entertainment for me. Spending "too little" time doesn't affect me.
>Have you or anyone you know experienced anything positive/exciting or difficult/unpleasant on social networking sites? What did you/they do?I've had interactions with people who have been extremely unpleasant, and block people with different viewpoints. On a positive note, it is really interesting to get to follow...interesting people.
