Spzce dandy season 2 is almost exclusively one off advantures with a different director and staff for each one. S1 is sweet too, I recommend watching both, but any episode of S2 has its own context and is a mostly self contained art project.

I'm not sure I'm picking up on your distinction here: S1 is that too, that is (I thought) the premise of Space Dandy.
