Let's do a little bit of math.

Instead of creating an entire thread for a question that requires a single post to answer, assuming two questions are asked in this entire thread, we're already at a net negative in thread count.

This is tricky because in both CG and DN, the protagonists are more anti-heroes than evil. In that vein I'd recommend "Darker than Black" S1 as a nice rounding out of the "Entry Level Shounen Anti-Hero" trifecta.

That being said if you want to take a slight departure from anti-hero and more towards "MC is playing 4D chess while everyone is playing Checkers" there's always "No Game No Life".

This is literally how the board works, you ignorant fuck.

- requests go in OP so they're visible in the catalog and always visible in the pages, and can be searched and filtered
- once a request is filled, it travels to the end of the board and falls off
- if someone cares about a request falling off they can bump it, if they're not coming back they won't

You would know this if you'd done the slightest amount of lurking before staggering in with your dick out screaming

Memes aside, if you're looking for "couple tries to play matchmaker but fall in love with each other instead", your options are actually pretty limited. If you're willing to compromise with "There's no way I'd ever like HIM", before immediately immediately falling in love; I'd recommend Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and Kare Kano for two ends of that spectrum. If by the romance gets DONE you mean an anime that doesn't end on the main couple's first kiss, I'd recommend literally any shoujo. Kimi ni Todoke is considered the gold standard and will prep you for the shoujo formula but Horimiya just wrapped up airing and I'd argue starting there would be better.

Beyond that there's the obvious Street Fighter II V anime recommendation, horribly non-canon but literally no one cares.

As an aside, the entire final fight scene of Sword of the Stranger was done almost entirely by an animator called Yutaka Nakamura, if you're a big enough fan, nearly any show he's worked on from One Punch Man to Kekkai Sensen can be worth watching just to see his work.

It is often that the most obscured works are the ones that are just around plain view, because a lot of people look at them, but very few recognize what is so special about them.
I also can't help being a young man. A man growing and pulling through, carrying the world on his shoulder, fighting, cute girls, friendship, triumph, these are all things that will never not be special to me. Not that I am not a huge maho shoujo fan, and most of what I watch is cgdct.

death note 10/10
naruto (and shippudean) 6/10 (has it's moments. It's the mcdonalds of anime, without the speed)
sora yori mo tooi basho (a place farther than the universe) 10/10
rabu rabo (love lab) 8/10
how heavy are the dumbells you lift 3/10 (It achieves its purpose, but wasn't what I was looking for)
zombielandsaga 7/10
k-on! (season 1) 8/10
ghost stories (english dub) 7/10 (it achieves it purpose, but I actually like the gimmick this time)
yuri camp (season 1) 2/10 (just boring)
relife 10/10 (only with reading the final chapters of the managa, otherwise would probably be a 9/10)
WELCOME TO THE N.H.K. 7/10 (depression: the anime. I have a hate love relationship with it, but ultimately like it more than I dislike it)
