Need some advice on how to get immersed into games. I'm about to be playing 3 games in a row that heavily rely on it from what I've heard, New Vegas, Outer Wilds, and Pathologic 2. I've been looking forward to those 3 especially, I really don't want to ruin my experience with them like I have with some previous games I couldn't get into. I haven't been able to get invested in quite a while though, I'm struggling. Any tips? What do I do?

I think it could be burn out, and I know a common suggestion to fix it is to "take a break". So I was thinking of reading a book, I already have a list of some I've been interested in. Should I get physical or read online?
