If you're ever curious about the app I recommend checking it out to see what I mean. If you don't click the 'link pitch to tempo' icon it'll behave similar to YouTube if you change the tempo but it also gives the ability to change the pitch too.
I think you might have to enable the sync pitch+tempo option in the settings of the app. I don't remember exactly since I set it up a while ago, but its not as complicated as I might be making it seem.
Of course I'd you don't care about slowing down music you can just ignore all of this, but if you do like this idea, I highly recommend it. Its been my goto music app for almost 5 years now before that I used vlc
