I had my house infested by roaches for 3 years in a row. It was the worst in the summer, and that was when I had the pleasure of about 50 cockroaches spill out of my AC unit. And you'd think that poison-bombing them would be enough to stop them in their tracks, but it didn't and the roaches kept coming from the walls, from the floorboards, and from every crevice imaginable.
And guess what happened in the end? I killed them because I'm not a pussy who's afraid of a disgusting bug.
Of course there's that primordial fear you get when you lay your eyes upon one of those fuckers. I still feel it from time to time. But you gotta squish it down if you want to stop their preemptive advance on humanity.
