#1 was a guy describing how he survived in his home during some sort of societal collapse or war time situation. He described how if you needed to leave, you did it at night and as quietly and quickly as possible. He talked about things that were as valuable as gold when you can't just go to the store, like toilet paper, batteries, ammo, sanitary wipes, antibiotics/medicine, etc. He talked about how difficult traveling was, and how his neighbor had a way to travel to the nearby home via a hole in his wall. I think he also talked about how many people he was responsible for looking after in his "group". It was really apocalyptic sounding but very interesting. I cannot seem to find it anywhere so if anyone knows what I'm talking about, I'd be thrilled to find it.
#2 was about this person describing how quickly his city was destroyed by do-gooders. It began by them talking about how in the middle of the day while at their office, a bunch of village types just waltz in and started doing shit like using desks to butcher their chickens, the manager told the office workers to just carry on with their work and ignore it. Most ended up quitting, the village type people ended up using the elevator shafts as giant garbage chutes/toilets, and used the toilet area as a place to wash themselves. It went on to talk about how after the damage was done, armed thugs would silently go into these offices at night and clear out the "ferals" floor by floor so that they could have their buildings back. I think it took place in Africa?
