How do I disable the touchpad and hover select? It's absolutely annoying and none of the guides online work. There's no touchpad settings, nor a hover setting in ease of access.
Running Windows 8.1 on an Asus laptop.

That's a hardware/driver issue. If your driver/hardware doesn't do what you want, disable the touchpad in device manager.

What you really should have done is buy a better laptop, there's a reason everyone bleats about thinkpads.

Didn't work. As soon as I uninstalled it, it just came back after restart.
