So stupid question but I'm genuinely stressing out over this. Is this outfit to much for a casual movie diner date? This guy I like from work asked me on a date and I want to impress but not seem like a try hard. Thanks!

Not a gril and I don't have too much experience with relationships so take this with a grain of salt but I think it's a bit over dressy, especially with those shoes. Maybe if you were going out to a really fancy dinner and then to see a play or something, but just the movies would probably fit better to just wear something you would normally wear to any other old movie excursion, although I do say if you wore this you'd certainly impress him in other ways.

Gotta agree with >>104861, also not a woman and it looks good but for a diner movie it might be too much. Also, diner movie as in eating in the theater? Those tend to be dark and white not be the best sort of thing to wear - its a lot of alcohol and finger foods while watching a movie, it can get messy

Still if you're aiming for a different kind of impress, its definitely attractive

You look great, and by themselves both the top and bottom are fine and not to dressy. I'd be cautious about wearing all white though. Depending on the setting it can look either perfectly normal (coffee shops, trendy bars) or very out of place (lower cost places). I'd hesitate to wear white to a movie.
