I'm a very solid man and I want to see some anime cartoons. I watched a few anime before and its were just a stupid cartoons for the stupid kids. What can you reccomendate for me?

I think Season 1 of the Promised Neverland is a good place to start.

The synopsis?

It's a story about three 11 year old children: Emma, who is athletic and compassionate, Norman, who is rational and analytic, and Ray, who is reserved and calculating to the point of cynicism. The three children live together happily and peacefully on an estate with about 30 or so other children, all loved and cared for by their mother figure, Isabella. As they age, children are 'shipped away,' never before their 6th birthday, but never after their 12th.

One day, Emma and Norman see something they weren't supposed to see, and realize their world is far more sinister than they imagined.

So begins a struggle for them to outsmart and outplan their opponents.

I think this is a very good introduction to anime. It's nice and short - only 12 episodes. It's a very interesting thriller, and the season 1 ending is amazing. It's also a good introduction to the idea that, yes, these stories can be filled with very cute characters and bright colors, but still deal with very mature themes.

My biggest criticism would be that it's a little bit slow to start, and one certain character is a little over-flamboyant for the setting. But these problems are minor.
