I've tried random places on the internet, looking for a weird/creepy music video I saw when I was younger and had no luck.

It's a black and white cartoon where a man travels through the forest at night murdering various people. The guy has a mustache and shoots a man riding a horse, he then goes into a small town and shoots a young couple who have snuck away to meet each other at night. I believe he then starts murdering various animals and escapes to a cabin.

I remember the victims having a look of shock/pain or confusion as they're murdered. The art style was fairly simple but quite disturbing to a young kid (I think it was made to look like a chalk drawing?)

The music was upbeat and didn't fit the style of the music video or what was happening on screen. It got very loud and bombastic; I think the lyrics were about falling in love but I can't remember the tune of the song at all.

Any ideas? I'm sure it wasn't some obscure song or music video.
