gentlemen, give me the update on /wsr/ since post 1.000.000* (which was made on April 1st). i've been too busy to attend to /wsr/ matters since then, but am back now and glad to see things looking alright still.

The wiki has indeed been dead, I think the guy in charge had an email but I can't remember it. I don't think it was a bad idea honestly, it still has its uses as a sort of archive of commonly requested things
I think the coomer situation has gotten worse and will only continue to get worse unfortunately. I don't know if it's just me, but a bunch of requests are just coomer shit these days, it makes browsing the board a bore so I do it much less. I'd rather have people asking basic image editng requests than all those. I wonder if anything can be done, or we're just doomed to this

Yeah, the lost communication mmd guy is one of them. I don't really know what an mmd is but I kind of hope he finds it. I did have a look but no luck

When I see a subculture acronym I don't know I consult Urban Dictionary: urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=MikuMikuDance Maybe I should put that in the wiki. UD, I mean.
Is the wiki primarily questioners, or answerers? I assume the latter. It's not even mentioned in the sticky.

Yeah basically like the other anon, I didn't care enough to find out what mmd is. I know UD is a good resource for that stuff, or knowyourmeme.
The wiki just started off from one anon wanting to continue the work of an old dead wiki, and other anons just chipped in and created pages as help guides and stuff
There were some good ideas, and I think some of the pages are honestly really useful. There's also a good collection of sites and stuff that are /wsr/ relevant.
There was talks of having an imagebooru for frequently requested images too. It was all wip, but it seems like the admin has disappeared, or got bored of it. The wiki can still be updated tho'

I don't think it'll ever get in the sticky, unless it becomes far more comprehensive, and even then it's a tall ask

Third-party sites won't ever be in an official announcement, you'd have to turn it over to 4chan who'd have to want to be interested in hosting it.

would probably be good to make some kind of a test suite for these like
