This manga is my favorite story of all time, period. It's an erotic story. But it's also the most beautiful, brilliant story I've ever experienced.
This is a story...about bondage. About two high school students, a boy and a girl, who have grow up in apartments next to each other. About a short, somewhat unattractive boy who is sort of a bondage and porn 'otaku' and a beautiful, popular, top of her class girl, who he has always been in love with. Both with no romantic experience. They're not boyfriend and girlfriend. They don't have sex. They don't kiss. It's about the things they say to each other, and do with each other, and feel about each other.
I know this might not sound very appealing. It kind of sounds like a dirty hentai plot at first - the kinda gross guy and the super amazing girl. But again, let me say this is 100%, 1000%, 10,000,000% a *love* story. Yes, it's erotic, but it's absolutely about the love they have for each other. Both of these characters are incredibly *good* people who put *so* much affection, and *so* much care, and *so, so, so* much love into their relationship.
It's a story about becoming the best version of ourselves. A story about the courage required to make ourselves vulnerable. And it's a story about love conquers all.
