I tried asking on /a/ but got no answer, and the analysis videos just skip over this part without commenting on it.
I understand that Mika is having one of these 'trips' in the wired, but why is she detached from her real self? Or is it even her real self, since the Mika we've been following throughout the episode is the one that ends up disappearing? Why can't the Mika at home see the wired Mika, and why does Lain not see here for who she is? And why does she disappear?
