Or if he writes, maybe read 'Anna Karennina' or 'Never Let me go', even though they're not great sources for creativity, both kinda present interesting ideas in a very appealing way, which could help.
You probably don't know how to present you're thoughts in new and compelling ways anymore, and thats left you feeling uninspired.
If you don't really feel like doing what I said above, then you can try and watch/read something so overblown with symbolism and random tangents that don't make any sense that it has to ignite some sort of artistic drive (my pick would be 'end of eva')
